SOAP Service - load balancing and routing

SA-3473

Summary

Trying to build PRPC environment (3 Application Servers in a cluster) from which 2 application servers will be used by Front End Users and 1 application server will serve Pega hosted WSDL Services. For some reason some of the end users are landing the SOAP service node.

Error Messages

NA - end users are routed to wrong node.

Steps to Reproduce

configure a proxy route the request to user node alone.

Root Cause

WebLogic proxy pluing log indicates JSessionID carries the jvmid of the SOAP service node, which is wrong. There is a weblogic plugin configuration 'DynamicServerList’ that notifies the plugin about the 3rd node in the cluster.

Resolution

Turn off the 'DynamicServerList' setting in WebLogic plugin configuration.
