Spelling check does not work



You, as an application developer, are adding a note in the advanced view of attachment of a case in manager portal. The spell checker in RTE is not working correctly in IE browser (version 8).

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Case Manager.
2. Open any case.
3. Click on attachment link.
4. Click on advance view button.
5. Select "Attach Note" from Add drop down.
6. Validate the text with spell check option.


Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in developer application code/rules. The spell checker for particular language needs the corresponding spell checker property rule in PRPC instance.


This issue is resolved through the following local-change:

Create the spell checker property in PRPC instance.

Records Explorer > Spellcheck Properties > Create the spell checker property rule for en_AU (save as the en_US with name en_AU).
