SQL error while reading blob during extraction

Summary



When running a BIX command line, exception appears in logs and the extract fails. 
 

Error Messages



2016-08-18 18:06:01,479 [xxxxxxxxxx] [ ] ( internal.access.ExtractImpl) ERROR - SQL error getting the next row to be extracted
2016-08-18 18:06:01,479 [xxxxxxxxxx] [ ] ( internal.access.ExtractImpl) ERROR - SQL error while reading the blob: errorCode = 17002 errorMessage:IO Error: Unexpected packet
2016-08-18 18:06:01,479 [xxxxxxxxxx] [ ] ( internal.access.ExtractImpl) DEBUG - SQL error while reading the blob: java.sql.SQLRecoverableException: IO Error: Unexpected packet


Steps to Reproduce



Run BIX extract from command line.


Root Cause



The issue was due to the JDBC driver version.

Resolution



Update the driver version from 11.2.0.1.0 to 11.2.0.3.0 resolved the BLOB exception.
