Steps to Reproduce

Upgrade Pega Platform 8.2.1 to Pega Platform 8.4.

Root Cause

The User Defined Function (UDF) Permission error can bypass the UDF installation during the upgrade. After the upgrade, the user can install the UDF through the script.

Resolution

Perform the following local-change:
  1. Bypass the UDF installation.
  2. Complete the upgrade.
  3. Rectify the Permission such that it is correct.
  4. Install the UDFs separately.
