In UI, table layout does not load with all columns in IE

Summary



A table layout is configured to contain three columns and a section is embedded in one of the columns.
When loading the UI in the Internet Explorer browser, only the first two columns display. The third column displays with a horizontal scrollbar.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a new section
  2. Add a table layout that is sourced from a list property.
  3. Add three columns. One of the columns is embedded with another section. In the Internet Explorer browser, only the first two columns are visible. The third column displays with a horizontal scrollbar.


Root Cause



Internet Explorer browser has issues with the CSS Flexbox model which introduces horizontal scrollbars for layouts.


Resolution



Perform the following local-change:

Toggle the dynamic layout's mode from Optimized code to Legacy code. Implement this for all layouts which are in the inner sections.
