Unable to edit Decision Table in Excel

Summary



When user selects 'Edit in Excel' on a Decision Table rulesheet, user notices below error:

"Cannot find encoded PegaRULES Excel template file string.'Edit'. Contact your PegaRULES administrator"

"Cannot find encoded PegaRULES Excel template file string.'Edit'. Contact your PegaRULES administrator"


Steps to Reproduce



1. Open Designer Studio in Internet Explorer 11 (32-bit).
2. Create a Decision Table rule.
3. Click the button marked 'Edit in Excel'.


Root Cause



Edit in Excel is not working for decision table. User has Load balancing enabled.
The strUrl which is used to open the decision table in excel is malformed in pega_desktop_decision.js.

Resolution



Apply HFix-25609.
