Unable to interrupt or terminate a browser requestor

SA-78391

Summary

Unable to interrupt or terminate a browser requestor. As a result, unable to use the particular session.

The disconnected requestors are not removed automatically.

Error Messages

Requestor Lock Exception.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Log in to the application
  2. Navigate to Resources > Requestors
  3. Select a browser requestor and click Terminate

Root Cause

Requestors are locked and hence are not terminated or removed. The PEGA0101 alert is generated when a queue processor fails because of a missing or failed stream node. The stream node is not available in the cluster, as a result all the threads are in the waiting state. Hence, the exception occurs.

Resolution

Perform the following local-change:

Add a new stream node.

If you have one node, set it to be universal. A universal node supports both the DSM Stream Service and Queue Processor rules. Use the following setting to set the node:

-DNodeType=Universal
