Unable to pick TLS security for Connect REST rule

Summary



An error is observed when attempting to connect to a TLS-secured REST service.
 

Error Messages



javax.net.ssl.SSLPeerUnverifiedException: peer not authenticated

Steps to Reproduce


Create a Connect REST rule and attempt to connect to a TLS secured service.


Root Cause

TLS is not supported in PRPC 6.x.


Resolution


 

Upgrade to Pega 7.x to have access to TLS.  It will appear as a dropdown option (along with SSL) on the connector rule form.
