Unable to read grid headers for grid in overlay

Summary



After configuring a grid in an overlay, unable to read grid headers. This issue occurs when using the Internet Explorer browser.


Error Messages



Not Applicable.


Steps to Reproduce

  1. Configure a grid inside a section and launch this section or associated flow action in an overlay
  2. Run the flow and use Tab key to traverse through the grid while JAWS reads out Grid Header and Rows.



Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. The generated markup for grids in Internet Explorer does not have a tab index for headers.


Resolution

Apply HFix-39599.
