Summary
User is unable to see 'Select file(s)' button to attach the files in IE 8, which is visible in Chrome browser with Pega 7.1.7 version.
Error Messages
On screen:
Browser does not support drag and drop
Steps to Reproduce
1. Login to application.
2. Open a request.
3. Click "attachment" and select "attach a file" option.
4. Check the Select files(s) button' and options available on the page.
Root Cause
This is a styling issue with input button Select file(s).
Resolution
Local change to use the below styles in userworkform:
<style>
.file-input-wrapper INPUT[type='file']
{
filter: alpha(opacity: 0);
}
</style>
