Unable to sort columns in Pushpin Feedback ListView

SA-20669

Summary

User is unable to Sort columns in Pushpin Feedback List View. Currently the Pushpin Feedback list view sorts Created By & Created Date columns. But it is not sorting ID, Feedback, Type, Location and Category. On hover over on these columns, the smart prompt displays "Click here to sort by ". But when users try to sort, they get an error "Cannot perform sorting on this column." This is an OOTB FINAL List View rule and no customization has been done.

Error Messages

Cannot perform sorting on this column

Steps to Reproduce

1. Login to CPMHC. Launch OOTB CPMHC Interaction Portal.

2. Click on the show feedback icon. It will launch OOTB pxFeedBackList ListView

3. Place your mouse indicator on the ID column. It says “Click to sort by ID”.

4. Click the column name to sort. You’ll observe a popup message "Cannot perform sorting on this column".

Root Cause

The reported behaviour is expected for some of the columns, which can't be sorted due to performance reasons. However, a tooltip displaying "Click to sort ID" is visible to the user, and when the user sorts on the column, an error message "" pops-up, this leads to a bad user experience. Since pxFeedbackList is a Final rule, the reported behaviour needs to be tracked as a BUG.

Resolution

This issue is considered to be resolved in update release Pega 7.2.2.
