Unable to switch applications in CPM 6.3 portal

Summary
CAS system was migrated from PRPC 5.5 SP1, CPM 6.2 and CPMi 1.5 to PRPC 6.3 SP1, CPM 6.3 and CPMi 6.3. The multiple access group reference feature to switch applications, which was present before migration, is not available in CPM 6.3. The requirement is to enable this feature in CPM 6.3 based portal.

Steps to Reproduce
Migrate from PRPC 5.5 SP1, CPM 6.2 and CPMi 1.5 to PRPC 6.3 SP1, CPM 6.3 and CPMi 6.3. The multiple access group reference feature to switch applications is not unavailable.
Root Cause
The root cause of this problem is a defect in custom application code or rules. The user was looking for a feature similar to SwitchApplication functionality in Case Manager portal for multiple access groups.
Resolution
Configure the SwitchApplication functionality feature by referring the implementation in pyCaseManager portal.
