SA-83868

Summary

Two user IDs are created as below:
  • ABCD_RM
  • 1518175_RM
A revision is created and a decision data rule is included in the revision. The 1518175_RM user ID cannot include propositions in the decision data; while ABCD_RM can include propositions.

Error Messages

The property pyRMUsers was of mode Page Group while the method on stack. was expecting Page List mode. Details: (none).

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Log in with a numeric user ID.
  2. Navigate to the Revision management.
  3. Select Decision data for rule changes.
  4. Click (>) decision data. Propositions are not listed and an error message displays in the Tracer.

Root Cause

This behavior is as per Pega product design.

On creation of a change request to save the delegation experience of a rule for a user, a page group is maintained with the operator ID as the subscript  for the page group. Since the operator ID used is a numeric value, the page group fails to load because the subscript is a numeric value.

Page group subscripts cannot be numeric values.

Resolution

Perform the following local-change:

Use non-numeric operator IDs or prefix the numeric operator ID with alphabetic characters.
