User Interface problem with IE 11 compatibility mode



User is on Pega 7.1.5 with CPM 7.1.2 and recently upgraded from Internet Explorer 9 (32-bit) to Internet Explorer 11(32-bit). Some of the users have to enable the compatibility view setting in IE 11 for intranet website. They reported that user interface does not show correctly under the IE11 compatibility view mode.

Error Messages

Not Applicable. 

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open IE 11 (32-bit), click Tools, and then click Compatibility View settings.
2. Check "Display intranet sites in Compatibility View".
3. Login end user client portal.
4. User interface does not show up correctly.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.


Perform the following local-change: 

Using IE11 in the Enterprise Mode and change Document Mode setting of IE11.
