Validation is triggered without typing a subject

Summary
When using the Out-Of-The-Box Advanced Notes screen, the validation fires on the subject field when you click away, even if nothing is typed.

Steps to Reproduce
Open the notes section, and click away from the subject field to observe the issue.
Root Cause
This behavior is expected and as per design.
Resolution
