Enhanced file upload support
We have rolled out expanded file upload support to Blueprint last night, as highlighted during Kerim's PegaWorld Keynote. You can now upload a wider variety of file types while creating your blueprint. The file types supported are .blueprint, .pdf, .docx, .jpg, .jpeg, .xml, .bpmn, .json, .html, .csv, .sql, .txt, .yaml, .mov, .mp4, .mpeg, .mpg, .webm, .flv, .wmv, .3gp, .png, .webp, .aac, .flac, .mp3 and .wav. Please note there is a 20 MB size limit per file; if your file exceeds this, kindly split it into smaller parts before uploading. We are working on increasing this limit in the future. We encourage you to try out the new functionality and share your feedback here to help us continue improving the experience.
@SumanKumarThanks for initiating this thread on enhancing file upload support in Pega! It’s clear that improving the upload experience especially with features like progress bars or more flexible file handling would greatly benefit both users and developers. Maybe Pega could consider making the internal rule customizable or extensible, to avoid breaking enhancements across updates. On a different note, having clarity with practical tasks like obtaining your RFC con homoclave can also bring peace of mind when dealing with official workflows. Would love to see a future where both technical enhancements and useful process insights get the attention they deserve!
