Images do not render in a grid in a modal dialog
SA-65212
Summary
When a grid with customized pzBinaryImage control is opened in a modal dialog, images display in the first row only. The image does not render in the rest of the rows and the rows have empty columns.
Error Messages
Not Applicable
Steps to Reproduce
- Save pzBinaryImage control in the local ruleset.
- Add a link with an onClick open local action in modal dialog.
- In the modal section, add a grid with one column using the customized control from Step1.
- Run the case.
- Click the link.
Root Cause
A software use or operation error
The pzBinaryImage control was overriden to make the DIV's ID containing the image, unique for each row. In the out-of-the-box pzBinaryImage control DIV's ID is static.
At the end of the script, a single line comment is present. As a result, at run time when the script is executed for the first row, the rest of the rows of that script are commented out.
Resolution
Perform either of the following local-changes:
- Remove the commented statement.
- Include the statement in a multi-line comment (for example, /* Statement */).
