FromParty parameter value is overwritten

Summary



When calling the NotifyParty activity and passing the FromParty parameter, the passed value of the parameter in the CorrNew API activity is overwritten.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Call the CorrNew API.
  2. Pass all the relevant parameters.
  3. Add a party role in the FromParty parameter.
  4. Run the API to send an email. The FromParty parameter is overwritten.
  5. Ensure that the From address in the email sent is the same as the email of the party added in the FromParty parameter.


Root Cause



An issue in the custom application code or rules.
The party role ID provided in the FromParty parameter was incorrect.


Resolution



Perform the following local-change:

Pass the FromParty parameter as 'Owner' instead of 'OWNER' (party role ID defined as 'Owner' is case sensitive).
