Add support for HOST header for configuration of pxReqContextURI

SA-38870

Summary

The environment has Pega nodes behind Amazon load balancers (ALBs). The ALBs have HTTPS certificates installed, but the individual Tomcat nodes where Pega is installed do not use HTTPS.

Pega will listen to X-Forwarded-Proto, X-Forwarded-Host and X-Forwarded-Port HTTP headers if they are present.

Amazon supports the X-Forwarded-Proto and X-Forwarded-Port headers, but it sends a standard HOST header instead of X-Forwarded-Host. Pega can't leverage the Amazon ALB headers.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

1. Configure Pega in an Amazon cloud environment where the load balancer is configured with HTTPS.
2. Access Pega using the HTTPS URL. Pega immediately redirects to an HTTP endpoint because pxRequestor.pxReqContextURI is not configured properly.

Root Cause

This issue was determined to be a product enhancement request, however one that may be addressed with a hotfix package.

Resolution

Apply HFix-34777.
