Summary

An agent is configured to run periodically , to archive the data. But it is intermittantly going down .

Steps to Reproduce

Schedule the agent to archive WorkObject.

Root Cause

Agent activity is trying to access a page that is not existing or sometimes may not exist at that point of time, during archiving. 

As per the exception, NullMyStepPage at the activity xxxxxx in the logs, could identify that tempDeletePage,  is the steppage. So it means tempDeletePage is not existing. Exception handling is not done properly in their application. 

Resolution

Add when rules at the step where it is trying to access a page that is not existing(tempDeletePage), in an agent activity to check referring page exist or not.

If null -> exit activity
else-> continues when 

This exception handling is now done properly in the agent activity.
