APK Build hangs

Summary
User is implementing Android APK build (branding and plugins). The build is successful on Pega build server and completes with exit code 0.
However the generated APK never returns to the PRPC instance and the build sits hanging from PRPC's point of view.
Error Messages
No error. Build says "Initializing Build..." and never returns.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open application > Mobile > Android tab.
- Click on the custom branded assets.
Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. The activity page needs to be accessible to all of the processes in pzInitMobileBuilds activity.
Resolution
Apply HFix-34193.
