User observed that application server goes down intermittently with PRPC 6.2 SP2.

Root Cause



The root cause of this problem is defect or misconfiguration in the PRPC operating environment.

The JVM was getting OutOfMemoryExceptions in Permgen memory.

Resolution



This issue is resolved by making the following change to the PRPC operating environment:

Increase the Permgen memory from 384 MB to 512 MB. Issue gets resolved.
