ASSIGN-WORKBASKET error while opening an instance

Summary



User is working on a case and after finishing the case, Pega automatically directs to the home page with Pega Customer Service for Communications 7.21.

In the home page, when user opens any case, user is facing an error.


Error Messages



Unable to open an instance using the given inputs: ASSIGN-WORKBASKET AIS-NIM-WORK S-17-000003991!SUBSCRIBEFIBRE_0

Contact your system administrator to have this assignment repaired.


Steps to Reproduce



1. Login by CS users.
2. Display Home Page screen.
3. Click on “My workbaskets” tab for continue to work.
4. As CS user click on case ID “S17-000003991” to open case.
5. As CS user perform his work on case Id S-17-000003991 until done.
6. As CS user clicks on <Finish> button, Pega will get automatically closed case and display Home page screen.
7. Accidentally, CS user clicks on case is S-17-000003991 again, Pega will display a warming message and CS user closes pop-up as image below.
Issue : CS user cannot click <Close> button that mean CS cannot do anything.


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules

Resolution



Perform the following local-change steps:
  1. Save as Section NoID(Assign-) rule to the Application ruleset.
  2. Add an action Cancel(Process Work) to the close button.
