BIX Extract fails due to missing table name

SA-85736

Summary

When generating the Data Definition Language (DDL) for the Business Intelligence Exchange (BIX) extract, the table name is missing despite entering it in the Extract rule. The table name displays in the View XML of the rule in pyOutputName.
Additionally, the extract fails (due to the missing table name) when it connects to the external database to insert records.

Error Messages

Table doesn't exist in  target Database: OECMCL2BIX

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a DDL for a full work item (create DDL). Table name is missing only for the work item top level table.
  2. Create the DDL in the Destination schema.
  3. Create the JDBC connection pool in WebSphere.
  4. Execute the extract for the work item. The extract fails due to the missing table name.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

Resolution
