Case Dependency does not work when a case is resolved. This occurs when pyEnableTopCaseLinks is set to True.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a parent case 
  2. Spin off a child case from the parent case
  3. Wait for the child case to go to resolved status
  4. Resolve the child case
  5. Open the parent case


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. Top case map was retrieved incorrectly by pxGetTopLevelCoverKeyAndClass. Hence, the dependencies were not triggered on the parent case.

Resolution



Apply HFix-53204.
