Case Type options list in the bulk import list too extensive



When attempting to bulk import specifications into an application, it is observed in the template downloaded from Import Specifications Wizard that their are cases/work types present in the drop down that are no longer applicable in the current version of the application.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open the Import Specifications Wizard.
  2. Click the download template and review the options of the drop down in the Case Type column of the generated Excel file.

Root Cause

This issue was determined to be a product enhancement request.

​When case types are removed from the Case & Data tab of the Application rule the case type does not appear in the Case Type Explorer or in the Application Profile document. The case type remains in the application.

An enhancement request, FDBK-16611, has been created for consideration by Pega Product Management.
