CMD server is not installed correctly

Summary



Chordiant Marketing Director (CMD) services do not getting installed on the new test environment.

Root Cause



Issue: No services getting installed.
Cause: The CMD server binaries were installed by the user without administrative privileges.

Issue: SPI service is not starting.
Cause: Few tables and views were missing in the new schema. Additionally, data in the SPI audit tables was missing.

Issue: SPI service is randomly stopping and the components scheduled in batch mode are queued.
Cause: Network issue at the user's end.

Resolution



Install the CMD server setup file with 'Run as Administrator' option.

Created the missing views and tables, and add data into SPI audit tables.

Contact network administrator and resolve the network issue to halt SPI from going down again.
