Summary

Issue while importing the third party jar into production through import wizard.

The application displays blank screen during the last step of import and does not progress. The tracer does not show any Failed status as well.

Error Messages

 No error mon Screen, but in Logs the below error message is present

Steps to Reproduce

Import the Custom CodeSet Jar through import wizard of Designer studio.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

When importing a code archive, and tracer is on, pxCheckCodeSet is closing the archive even through import is in progress.

Similar issue was fixed through HFix-27035 for pegarchives. 

The import progress was not set properly in the HFix-27035 which was closing the archive when pxCheckCodeSet calls a trace event.

Resolution

Apply HFix-29596 through hotfix manager.
