Data in a report is truncated when exported to PDF

SA-65518

Summary

In a report definition, data is truncated when exported to PDF.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a report.
  2. Use the Export to PDF option.
  3. Download and view the PDF.

Root Cause

The following markup was passed to pd4ml.

<div style="float:left;"> </div>

Due to the extra space in the beginning, data is pushed to the right. Therefore, data is truncated.

Resolution

As a local-change, add the following style in pyReport_ExportToPdfStyles.css.

div.gridDefault div.List_report tr.cellCont td.gridCell > div[style*='float']{
display: none;
}
