Default Weekday function not working

Summary
Weekday funciton is not returning the proper value. For eg : if current date is 5-Feb-2015, it should return 5, but its returning 3.
Steps to Reproduce
Create an activity, pass current date to weekday function, and check the value in the property.
Root Cause
Passing invalid double equivalent date value as an input to the weekDay function
Resolution
Use @(Pega-RULES:DateTime).dateTimeToBigDecimal function to convert the dattime to BigDecimal value.
Input the resultant value to the weekDay function
