Exception is thrown on providing the date in the Summary view

Summary
The user has upgraded from PRPC 6 to Pega 7. When the user opens a summary view, fill the date and click on submit exception is thrown.

Steps to Reproduce
- Run the summary view.
- Enter the date an time.
- Click Submit.
Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules
At runtime date time control is expecting input format of date but we are providing the datatime format. On removing the time there is no issue.
On further analysis it is observed that when we do select value the calendar that is used is pzCalendar of class Embed-Whenconditions which has the control of pzDataTimeCalendarLVSV which takes the format of only date. But in the report definition it is pzCalendar of class Embed-ReportFilter and has the control pzDateTimeCalendar which has the format of date and time.
Resolution
Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior:
As Summary views are deprecated suggested the developer to use report definition.
