External data record throws error if px properties are present

SA-23974

Summary

An error occurs when attempting to save an instance of a data class.

Error Messages

trying to retrieve property pxInsHandle from a fully exposed table that does not contain it: code: SQLState: Message:

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a table with a px column.
  2. Create a New Data Type and Map the Data class to the above table.
  3. Add the External Map property to match the column created above.
  4. Configure the source.
  5. Insert a record.

Root Cause

The logic assumes that if there are properties named with the px prefix, a BLOB is required.  This requirement is too restrictive.

Resolution

Apply HFix-27526.
