Image URL not opening in Chrome

Summary
When user clicks on a link (Image Link), the URL is opening correctly in Internet Explorer 11. However, in Chrome browser it fails.
Onclick, Image link should open up the image.

Steps to Reproduce
1. Open the application.
2. Go to the Workbasket section.
3. Click on the Image link.
Root Cause
User has saved the Images in their local-machine. Due to Cross Browser Domain Security issue, Chrome Browser fails to open the Image.
Resolution
Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior:
Due to Cross Browser Domain Security issue, Chrome Browser fails to open the Image.
But Internet Explorer browser does not restrict this and lets the image to open. There is only one solution for the reported issue, that is the user would have to store the Images in the Server or Cloud.
