Issue with ProcessServiceLevelEvents

Summary



After doing a database migration you observe in the System Management Application and logs that an agent running ProcessServiceLevelEvents gets an exception.

Error Messages



Looking for instance Rule-Message THERE WAS A PROBLEM GETTING A LIST: CODE: 12154 SQLSTATE: 66000 MESSAGE: ORA-12154: TNS:COULD NOT RESOLVE THE CONNECT IDENTIFIER SPECIFIED in the Rule Resolution cache


Steps to Reproduce


Migrate database and make application and rule tables separate
Run ProcessServiceLevelEvents activity.


Root Cause



The root cause of this problem is defect/misconfiguration in the PRPC operating environment. The issue is related to an incorrect mapping of the pr_sys_locks table to the rules database.

Resolution



This issue is resolved through the following local change: Update the
pr_sys_locks table mapping to the rules database and test the connection.
