Mashup content does not open in browser

Summary



Error occurs when opening  a local Mashup file in the browser.


Error Messages



This content can’t be shown in a frame.
There is supposed to be some content here, but the publisher doesn’t allow it to be displayed in a frame. This is to help protect the security of any information you might enter into this site.



Steps to Reproduce

  1. Generate a Mashup code for a case type.
  2. Open the Mashup code file.


Root Cause



The Mashup was launched from a local file directly in the browser.


Resolution



Perform the following local-change:

For the Internet Explorer browser, add the Mashup as a Trusted site to open it.

For Chrome browser, perform the following:
  1. Install Apache Tomcat.
  2. Deploy the Mashup files.
  3. Access the Mashup through the local host.
