Modal dialog is not working after upgrade from 6.3 sp1

Summary
The user recently upgraded from 6.3 SP1 to 7.2.1. Post upgrade they noticed that Modal dialog is not working.

Steps to Reproduce
- Upgrade the application from 6.3 SP1 to 7.2.1
- Configure a link with modal dialog as local action.
- Observe the behaviour as modal dialog is not appearing for long time and even when appears the format is not proper.
Root Cause
A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment: As the application was upgraded from 6.3 SP1 to 7.2.1 version , when any links is configured with modal dialog as local action, old modal dialog was getting launched.
Resolution
Perform the following local-change:
Checked the checkbox for Render as HTML 5 in the application rule form.
