Refresh flow action in modal window from the pop-ed up harness

Summary
On launching a harness from a modal window, any changes made in the harness are not reflected in the Flow Action specified in the modal window. The values are updated in the clipboard, but the values are not updated in the modal window inspite of a refresh button placed in the modal window.
Resolution
Out-of-the box, this scenario is not possible as there is no way to track from where the harness pop up gets opened after dismissing or closing it.
One can try launching a Local Action instead of launching a new harness.
