Report definationis not opening in pop-up when calling from Act

Summary
Report called from a standalone activity is working fine
When calling Same activity from a button is not displaying the Report
Error Messages
No error message
Steps to Reproduce
1. Create a report
2. Call the report from the Activity.
3. from UI , on submit call the activity.
Resolution
Runactivity Action configured on an event would not display the Report that is called in the Activity.The data just shows in the Clipboard.
There is an another action that can be configured on the event like:"Open URL in New Window".this action provides a provision to mention the activity that needs to be run
