Rule Rule Error In Property-Ref from Node Level Data Page

SA-31336

Summary

When a parameterized requestor level data page references a node level data page through a reference property, errors may occur when the reference property link breaks.

Error Messages

Not applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a page list property that can be set as a reference property .DecisionDataResults.
  2. Create a node level data page with a load activity that populates .pxResults with at least one parameter.
  3. Create a requestor level data page with a load activity that uses Property-Ref to set the property created from step 1 with value from the node level data page .pxResults e.g. Primary.DecisionDataResults = D_DecisionDataNode[param].pxResults.
  4. Run the requestor level data page, and observe that data page loads; and subsequently executes "Removing any references to auto-population source properties" and causes the error.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code caused the reference property to loose it's link to the node level data page.

Resolution

Apply HFIX-30458.
