Search indexing has been interrupted message



Development server getting "Search indexing has been interrupted on <Host Name>. Results may be incomplete" message on the screen when user searches in Development portal.

Error Messages

"Search indexing has been interrupted on <Host Name>.  Results may be incomplete" message.

Steps to Reproduce

Login to Developer portal and perform a Search.

Root Cause

SystemWorkIndexer not running when both Work and Data indexing was enabled.


Check the Search Landing Page to confirm the Index Host Node Settings are correct and that the indexes that are selected as enabled have their corresponding Agent running  In this case the resolution was to start the SystemWorkIndexer agent and re-index from the landing page.
