Summary
SMA-Declare Page cache clear option not clearing the cache. Expectations are to clear the entire cache by using "clear"-entire cache option on the SMA - Declare Page cache management page.
Error Messages
No relevant error message. Functionality finishes without any error.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open the SMA application and select the node.
- Expand the Advance option and click on Declarative Page Cache Management link.
- Click on Clear button under Entire Cache section.
- Check cache is not getting cleared.
Root Cause
A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment:
If the "clear"-entire cache button in SMA is used then it clears the definitions and re-initialize them. So the the Page definitions are not getting removed.
Resolution
Perform the following local-change:
To resolve this issue set the following prconfig properties to false:
prconfig/initialization/declarePages/preLoadDeclarePageDefinitionCache/default
prconfig/initialization/declarePages/enableLoadOnlyPages/default
If we set the property to false it will stop the pre-load of the data page definition cache.
