Unable to filter repeat grid columns with Horizontal scrollbar

Summary
A repeating grid displays from the results of a report definition. The number of columns displayed in results requires horizontal scrolling. When filtering columns that are to the right of the screen by scrolling horizontally, the filter box outline displays momentarily and the screen scrolls back to the left. The filter popup never displays.
This occurs in the Internet Explorer browser.

Steps to Reproduce
- Configure a repeating grid with multiple columns such that horizontal scrolling is required.
- Scroll to the right.
- Filter any column that is in the extreme right of the grid.
The outline of the filter popup displays momentarily:
However, the filter popup does not display and the screen scrolls back to the left.
Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
When the Grid has a scrollbar, opening a filter on it triggers the Resize event. This initiates the clickAwayHandler of the popup (onScroll event) and auto dismisses the grid popup.
Resolution
Apply HFix-40556.
