Unable to view response from SOAP service post the upgrade



The system was upgraded to Pega 7.1.9 from PRPC 5.4 SP2. After the upgrade, the response message from the SOAP service could not be viewed. The service returned the data, but there was no content in clipboard page in case of Pega 7.1.9. The same response was mapped correctly in PRPC 5.4 SP2.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Import the WSDL file using SOAP Integration wizard.
  2. Call the generated Connect-SOAP rule from an activity.
  3. Map the response from the Connect-SOAP to a clipboard page.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules is identified as the root cause for this issue. The criteria to check SOAP:Arrays in multi-refs normalization in code is identified to be incorrect.
