Summary
Use “Use alternate database” issue in Report Definition.
When a Report Definition, configured with "Use alternate Database", is called from a Section, a Datapage or and Activity the returns data does not come from the remote database but from the local database as 'pegadata'.
Everything is fine if the Report Definition is directly called.

Steps to Reproduce
Run the data page by keeping report definition as source.
Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules, using alternate database is dependent on a parameter named "pyUseAlternateDB" present in pxRetrieveReportData activity which runs the report definition.
The only way to set this true is by checking 'Use alternate database' on the report definition.
Resolution
User has to set the parameter 'pyUseAlternateDB' to true.
