Visiting last tab in dynamic layout is refreshing the clipboard

SA-34287

Summary

When a user has a dynamic container with three fixed tabs, toggling between the tabs causes a refresh of the content. In first tab create a worklist which has at least one column on which you can sort.. The third tab is designed to be populated on a deferred load event . Sort on one column in the worklist present in first tab. then toggle to last tab and back to first tab. The clipboard content for the first tab is showing as not sorted.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. At runtime open the portal.
  2. Sort on one of the columns in the worklist present in first tab.
  3. Go to last tab and come back to first tab.

Root Cause

In TabGroup , if there is a deferred load configuration on one of the tabs the on active event of that tab causes a reload section that loads the markup for previous tabs as well if they contain dynamic layouts, but only replaces reponsetext for only the current Tab. On defer load, pulls markup for only Dynamic Layouts and not for section includes of other tabs. The above described behavior explains how the scenario of inconsistent rows in the clipboard and UI occurs.

Resolution

Perform the following local-change:
Instead of including a dynamic layout and then in that layout including a section, it is advised to directly include a section as a tab in tabgroup. This corrects the above scenario.
