XSD validation error and Junk character display for CDATA tags.

<Subject><![CDATA[Test 测试 Cèshì & <b>Escaped</b>]] ></Subject>


Error Messages



For Special Character it gives below error.
Error Found: cvc-complex-type.2.4.b: The content of element 'CaseDetails' is not complete. One of '{Subject}' is expected.

For Chinese character it displays ????


Steps to Reproduce



Use Service SOAP with XML validation rule to create Work Order from external system.


Root Cause



A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment. Encode/Decode is causing the issue during parsing.


Resolution

Issue resolved by adding below JVM parameters.

-Dclient.encoding.override=UTF-8
-Dfile.encoding=UTF-8 ​
