What is the current level of case design skill with Pega GenAI Blueprint?
Compared to a certified Pega Business Architect, how effectively can Pega GenAI Blueprint generate case types and work-flows when provided with the same set of system requirements and business process description?

@Chunzhi_Hong Blueprint is best viewed as a collaborative accelerator, not a replacement for BAs. Many organizations now use Blueprint for initial drafts and rapid prototyping, then have BAs refine and validate designs before build. One thing that has helped me enable Clients interactively in Blueprint has been this: Tour the Pega Platform in this self-guided demo | Pega.

hi @PauloTonin thank you very much for sharing your thoughts! I agree that blueprint is a good place to define workflow application requirements collaboratively between IT and Biz team...Based on your Pega GenAI blueprint experience, does automatically created case types and its processes definition meet the expected quality level of your clients? how many modifications do you apply onto those automatically created case types and processes?

@Chunzhi_Hongit really depends on a few factors:
- Client’s clarity on future state before starting Blueprinting.
 - Level of innovation and ideation they expect to leverage from GenAI.
 - Quality of inputs provided (system requirements, business process descriptions).

That said, Blueprint is fully capable of designing applications—including case types—aligned with best practices. As a general rule, each case type should model a clear, measurable business outcome.
Regarding your question: Automatically created case types and processes often meet a strong baseline quality, but they’re rarely “final.” The number of modifications varies by client maturity and complexity—ranging from minor adjustments to significant refinements. Think of Blueprint as an accelerator: it gives you a solid starting point, but human oversight ensures alignment with business goals and compliance.

@Chunzhi_Hong another point is to think in making the Blueprint High Fidelity; regardless of the amount of modifications. As soon as you reach the 'Preview my App', show & tell it to your Client and adjust just what remains necessary.

@PauloTonin in my opinion, the real strength of Pega GenAI Blueprint lies in its case type design capabilities ("High Fidelity Blueprint" with minimum amount of modification), rather than its ability to discover or re-engineer various type of uploaded assets.

I kind of think of the AI as a brainstorm contributor. You provide your supporting content and it may suggest things you might not otherwise have considered - much like a business architect or systems architect. What the AI isn't able to do, at least not yet, is to engage in a conversation with the business asking probing questions to help uncover business needs that weren't included in the initial documentation.
A strength of blueprint is it provides a structure that emphasizes thinking about the business process first and then thinking about what information you need to view and collect along the journey. Then, it allows you to experience that journey and to refine that journey with or without professional guidance. Depending on how complex your needs are, if you end up needing professional support to help you bring the application to life, you have already accelerated that process by having a chance to think through what you are trying to accomplish.

@ChrisBoone thank you very much for sharing your thoughts! i agree that pega-way of process modeling is intuitive and blueprint is much more handy than the AppStudio for business users...
