Localization Issue with File Upload Control Error Message
Hi ,
We were doing localization in Constellation 24.1.3 , and I could see the Error message associated to the control doesnot get translated even though it was in Bundle of Constellation_nl-NL
Do anyone else have the same issue ?

Thanks Jagadish for replying . We imported laungage pack from Pega Platform Traditional UI and Constellation | Pega as it was mentioned its cumilative of all version ( we downloaded from v25 column and used for nl-NL . when we imported we could see that nl-NL rulesets get created for all application layers and localized rulesets get created in it . How did you do the localization , I see you have a localized rule with francelocale in ints name for us its a different rulesets been created .

I have gone through the market place reference you mentioned , it is specified in the information given under the language packs that 25.1 is not backward compatible (seen in screenshot attached) .
As you are trying to achieve the localization in 24.1.3 version, i would recommend using the localization wizard directly from the App studio and leverage the Localize with GenAI option and verify the translations in the downloaded excel/Json, you can update any translation as per the requirement in the pack and import the same using the wizard.
This will automatically create the localization rules in the locale specific ruleset automatically(no manual RSV creation required).
Note: Please note that we have tried a similar example in the 24.2 version, though the field labels and other text localization was achieved successfully, the file extension error was still displayed in English as seen in the below attached screenshot.(This seems to be a valid issue in versions prior to pega 25)
We believe that this gap was filled in 25 version, hence when we tried in pega 25 , we are able to achieve the localization for error message, as I mentioned earlier.

This was the reference we used for localization for v24.1.3

From the information that you have provided i can see that , you have mentioned the app version as 24.1.3, but from the screenshot i can see that you have a bundle rule generated in pega for the localization which is the feature introduced in the version 25. Can please confirm , exactly which version of the constellation you are trying to achieve the localization.
Also We tried implementing this example in the latest 25 and 25.1.1 version for fr-FR in different applications with both case level attachment and embedded attachment and have updated the translation for the error message you are looking for .
As seen in the below screenshots , we are able to display the error message with the localized text.
