Tell us a bit about your Pega journey - What was your motivation to pursue CLSA certification?
The thing I have always loved about Pega is that helps me keep up with the latest trends in technology by incorporating new updates in each version. It has been a continual learning process for me. Pega brings out the best in me as a developer and I felt that achieving LSA certification would help take my knowledge of the platform to the next level.

I was introduced to Pega in 2015 during my training at Incessant and became very fascinated by the capabilities of Pega. I felt confident that this was going to be the best path for my career. Like any developer, I want to analyze a problem and arrive at a solution. The problem is that there are often mundane development steps that need to be completed every time to arrive at a solution. This is addressed by Pega with its low code, model-driven development approach.

What were the most significant obstacles that you faced on your path to become CLSA certified? How were you able to overcome those obstacles?
Time was the most significant obstacle while preparing for the CLSA. I was busy working on Pega projects but later I realized that the rich business cases that I had been working on could be helpful to develop the critical thinking approach I would need to achieve my LSA certification.

I spoke to my executive management team about my CLSA aspirations and I was fortunate enough to have a leadership team who supported my goal to take and pass the CLSA App Build.

What message or advice would you give to anyone who is considering a career as a Pega CLSA?
The best part about the Pega platform is that it incorporates the latest innovations and provides solutions in areas such as Robotics, AI, and Decisioning. You will never stop learning and improving!

Having a CLSA certification can often make or break your ability to be offered a Pega project. If you want to be in the driver’s seat for your career, I would highly recommend becoming a CLSA.
