Tell us a bit about your Pega journey - What was your motivation to pursue CLSA certification?
I have aspired to become a CLSA ever since I started my Pega journey nine years ago. This ambition to hold the ultimate certification is what drove me to spend hours of free time exploring the newest features and aspects of Pega.
What were the most significant obstacles that you faced on your path to become CLSA certified? How were you able to overcome those obstacles?
With the continuous updates to the Pega platform, it can be difficult to stay updated on all of these new features in the lead-up to taking your App Build. Then there’s the exam itself. It’s quite a challenge to code, test, document and migrates an application in the span of three days. If your intentions and objectives are made clear from the start, it’s a challenge that you can overcome.

What message or advice would you give to anyone who is considering a career as a Pega CLSA?
My top suggestion would be to make sure that you have plenty of hands-on training prior to beginning the CLSA process. Build your knowledge of the Pega platform by creating sample applications from retired LSA use cases. Once you are truly prepared and your confidence is high enough, that’s when it’s time to go after your CLSA.
